Game Cartridge Battery Replacement Service

Battery dead or almost dead? Use our battery replacement service!

• The purchase price includes backing up/restoring any save game (if the existing battery isn't dead), installing a new battery, cleaning, and return shipping to you. You must send us your game cartridge(s) at your expense.
  • If you order other things with this service those things will not ship until after the service is performed. The things you purchased and the cartridges will be returned in the same package.
• The batteries we use are Energizer lithium-metal. These are custom-made, allowing us to fit larger-than-normal batteries into most cartridges.
  • For instance: Most 2nd gen Pokemon games use a CR2026 (~150 mAh). With this service, we would install a CR2032 (~210 mAh) into that cartridge, giving you more time.
• If your battery isn't dead yet, the price includes backing up and restoring your save game. We can also send you the save game as a file for safekeeping.
• This service is not available for counterfeit ("reproduction") cartridges, most of them don't even have batteries.
• The game must be functional (other than things related to the battery, such as saving or keeping time) or it will be returned without a refund. If you don't have a way to test the game beforehand and are willing to pay for a potentially required repair, contact us first.

Warning: Some games may have a sticker covering the screw hole. That sticker may be destroyed when opening the cartridge. We will do our best to minimize damage.
